Jessica left a comment asking to hear more about Toytown. Of course I’ll tell you all about it!
Toytown is a small village where I’ve lived all of my life. I live in a little peach coloured house at the end of the Main Road. I only have two small rooms, and a little kitchen, but it suits me just fine. If you walk down the Main Road and on to Chestnut Street you’ll see a rather large (well, compared to most houses in Toytown!) green house. That’s where my mother, Mama Teddy lives, together with my grandparents - Grandma and Grandpa Teddy. I used to live there too, before I moved into my own house, and became the TeddyCop.
Everyone just loves my Mama! She’s so nice and friendly, and is always ready to give a stranger who’s passing by a hot meal and a place to sleep. She really loves cooking, and can usually be found in the kitchen.
My Grandma is a lot like Mama. She also likes to cook, and to bake, but is also well known for her knitting. Such a sweet lady!
Grandpa is rather grumpy, and is usually sitting in his chair in the living room, remembering old times, and complaining about things today. But if you sit down and talk to him you’ll find he is wonderful at telling stories, and is a really kind old bear.
In the middle of town, at the Town Square, you can buy pretty much anything on Market Day (which is every Wednesday). This is where we buy everything we can’t make or grow ourselves. It’s also a great place to meet people!
My best friend Paddy the Frog can usually be found there, selling fish. He loves to fish, and every Wednesday he sells his fish at the Market, so that he can buy everything he needs. He says that’s the perfect way of living! Paddy is a very loyal friend. You can trust him with any secret! He also has a great sense of humour.
My other best friend Elvira would never dream of fishing! She’s a dance mouse, and loves dancing and music, and of course pretty things! Her parents are rich, so she never has to worry about earning money. She’s the sweetest thing though, and a wonderful friend!
By the Town Square you’ll find an old red house with a sign that says “The Bear House”. That’s the Toytown pub. There you can get food and something to drink. Be sure to try their Warm Honey Tea! It’s wonderful on a cold winter day. Their Blueberry Pie is also well-known, and people travel from everywhere to get a piece!

Thank you so much for that lovely description of ToyTown, it certainly sounds like a wonderful place!
I have to admit that I'm a little jealous of you Teddycop, because I wouldn't mind living in a place like that myself. Still, I'm happy for you and all the other residents in ToyTown!
Take care!

If you have any questions about me or my town feel free to ask. It's not always easy to know what to write in my blog.
